ping.fm

I'm not sure on how many people have heard of ping.fm, I'm not even sure on how many of you would find a use for it!

I've been having a go with it for about half an hour now and I have to say I impressed. I'll let ping.fm tell you what it's about:

"Ping.fm is a simple service that makes updating your social networks a snap."

That's basically what it is, I'm posting this through ping.fm right now and as soon as I click "Ping it!" it will post this to both of my blogs!

Now, if that isn't enough let me tell you that you can do the same for status updates for Social networks such as Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. There is also no limit to how many you can do this with either, for all ping cares I could be posting this to 10, 20, or hell 50!

The fact is I can tell it's going to make my life a hell of a lot easier, so come and sign up if your a blogger with multiple blogs, or even if your just fed up of updating all of social networks. For all those Google fanatics you can also find a iGoogle widget to make it even easier.

It's been a long time....

As some of you may know I abandoned the blogging community for some time now. This has been mainly due to other commitments I have in my life.

I just want to start of again by telling the people who do not have a blog what blogging is about (in my opinion).

To start off, blogging should not be a job, I used to look for things to blog about, yes this is what some of the other bloggers do, but to me I will blog if I personally find something interesting, or if I am trying to accomplish a task and find something that may be of use to other people.

I don't and never will blog as a job, it's more of a hobby. This doesn't mean to say there are going to be a few months between every blog post, but possibly I will do one every 2-3 days depending on if I feel I need to say something about a certain topic or if I find something useful.

Anyway, again I apologise, but please do keep checking back.
